Service Description

May include increased frequency of contact and is based on the classic psychoanalytic theory that humans are often unaware of what contributes to their troubling feelings and behaviors. Psychoanalytic work is anchored in the belief that the unconscious exists and can motivate our thoughts and feelings, thus driving problematic behavior. Understanding the dynamics of the unconscious can yield unparalleled insight as well as a life less burdened by the past. This work can move a person beyond intellectual comprehension of their difficulties to deeper emotional understanding of what has transpired in their life. Clients gain insight through exploration of dreams, fantasies, blocked creativity, unacknowledged talents/capacities and investigation of old relationship patterns. This exploration occurs alongside the experience of the relationship with the doctor and leads to decreased symptoms and long lasting change. Client and practitioner embark on careful exploration of early experiences and their impact on daily functioning and overall life satisfaction. This dynamic approach allows me to respectfully and non-judgmentally accept clients and their experiences while allowing for insight and growth. Healing occurs through the richness of the interactions between doctor and patient via a strong working alliance, interpersonal connection and the working through of underlying conflicts that no longer serve a positive purpose in one's life and relationships.

Cancellation Policy
